Seems Icky isn’t available for the rest of us non-americanos for now. We’ll wait and see.
Instead, this live version of ‘Jolene’ is an incredible rendition. I couldn’t believe that it was a Dolly Parton cover, but it really is. Here’s her original.
Your beauty is beyond compare, with flaming locks of auburn hair, with ivory skin and eyes of emerald green.
You gotta hand it to Dolly.

Hi Jin, They are a minmalist rock band from Detroit (Jack on guitar, Meg on drums). Supposedly brother and siter, but there may also be a marriage certificate. Nobody really seems certain! Anyway, they have made a bunch of albums and do their own thing until they get together for touring and recording. They almost always play this song at concerts - they rarely play covers, but they always do this one - my fav!

Gotta admit I’ve never heard of White Stripes (*hangs head in shame*) but after listening to their interpretation of ‘Jolene’ I have to admit that they’re pretty bloody good! I only clicked the link cos I’m a Dolly Parton fan. NOT what I expected at all!
