Gotta admit I’ve never heard of White Stripes (*hangs head in shame*) but after listening to their interpretation of ‘Jolene’ I have to admit that they’re pretty bloody good! I only clicked the link cos I’m a Dolly Parton fan. NOT what I expected at all!

Hi Jin, They are a minmalist rock band from Detroit (Jack on guitar, Meg on drums). Supposedly brother and siter, but there may also be a marriage certificate. Nobody really seems certain! Anyway, they have made a bunch of albums and do their own thing until they get together for touring and recording. They almost always play this song at concerts – they rarely play covers, but they always do this one – my fav!
